If you’ve arrived within the last 6 months and

want to meet people and explore new environment,

Oz Buddy is for you.

Oz Buddy pairs you with a friendly experienced

international student to help you settle in.

• 6–8 weeks program (25th of May 2026 - 17 of July 2026)

• Flexible around your study schedule

• Casual chats, local exploration, and shared experiences

Starting a new country can feel overwhelming,

but you don’t have to do it alone.

Who can join ?

Leads

• An international student who has lived in Australia for more than 6 months

• Able to commit to the full 6–8 week program

• Friendly, open-minded, and respectful of all cultures and backgrounds

• Patient and empathetic toward newly arrived students

• Ready to join our International Student Volunteering Program

Buddies

• An international student who has lived in Australia for less than 6 months

• Able to commit to the full 6–8 week program

• Open-minded and respectful of all cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs

• Respectful of your Lead's time and boundaries
